INSIDE THE COPIERXerography, invented by Chester Carlson, began the copying revolution. In xerography, an original image is transferred when light is projected onto an electrically charged surface. The image attracts oppositely charged toner particles, which are then fused into place on the copy paper, reproducing the original image. |
