TV HACKERS

The U.S. entertainment industry often portrays hackers as heroes, out to reveal corporate or governmental corruption and conspiracies. Some of the most intriguing hackers to appear on television beginning in the 1990s were featured on the X- Files. The trio of conspiracy theorists—Byers, Frohike, and Langly—helped FBI agent Mulder with numerous cases by hacking into top secret government systems.
