Servier, Jean H(enri) (1918-)Professor of ethnology who has written on parapsychology. He was born on November 2, 1918, in Constantine, Algeria. He moved to France and studied at the Sorbonne. After graduation he became a professor of sociology and ethnology at the University of Montpellier, France. He was a member of Société des Africanistes. In addition to his studies in ethnology and anthropology, Servier has taken special interest in clairvoyance, mediumship, and the ethnological aspects of the history of magic.
