CLERICAL WORKThe role of the clerical person in a public health setting is to set the tone for a client's positive experience. A thorough understanding of the workings of the specific public health agency and the local community is essential. Many questions asked may not pertain to the agency, but usually the person can be referred appropriately if the clerical person is knowledgeable about other governmental agencies and community services.
