ColombiaThe people of Colombia are called Colombians. About 50 percent of the population is mestizo (mixed white and Amerindian or native people). An estimated 25 percent of are white, 20 percent are mulatto (mixed black and white) or zambo (mixed black and Amerindian), 4 percent are black, and 1.5 percent are pure Amerindian (native people).
