The Shocks of European Colonization

From 1492 to 1608, a new era, called "The age of
discovery," had evolved into a full blown conquest for the
unknown. Explorers explored the unknown in the uncharted
sea with their crew and boats in search for the unknown.
This innocent quest for the unknown grew fatal when greed
interceded in their discoveries. During this age of
discovery, Europeans invaded the "New World," cruelly
enforced it's culture upon the Indian culture and used
Africans rudely and injustly in slave trading.

When Christopher Columbus discovered the new world, little
did he know that he would begin an eternal deterioration to
the Indian culture. Indians had an extremely rich culture
because of being native to the Americas for centuries. The
Incas and the Azteks made empires based on gold. These
Indians had a plethora of gold but explorers such as Cortez
of Spain who saw this brought back stories of an
overabundance of gold. As a result, conquistadores invaded
the Americas, killing and rampaging the azteks. They also
spread deadly diseases to the Indians who had a deficient
immune system in contrast to those of Europeans. Not only
did these outrages happen to these two cultures, but this
happened to the North American Indians. Englishman pushed
Indians out of their homes and set up their own society.

The Africans brought over from Africa did not do so great
either. Portuguese pioneered the market for African slave
trade and Africans have suffered ever since. Due to an
inadequate immune system, many Africans were killed. By
1619, the first africans stepped foot on America. By 1672,
slave trading had gone out of control. Merchants captured
200 or more Africans, hauled them on ships, and packed them
in like sardines to ship to the Americas where they would
be auctioned off then forced to a life of being a slave. In
America, they had no legal rights because they were
considered property.

The Africans and Indians were both victims of Europeans.
Horrible atrocities were committed to them and both
suffered horribly.
