Sly wakes up and asks for his usual ale and beef but the servants tell him he is out of his mind, and that a Lord does not eat those things.  Sly is happy when they tell him he is a Lord, and believes their stories.  When told he has a beautiful wife, he asks to see her, and in comes a young boy dressed as a girl.  She greets her husband, and he asks to practice his marital rights, but she/he tells him he must wait a few days or he'll go mad again.  He agrees, and together they begin watching the play being performed.
